Yvonne is responsible for leading Metropolitan Group’s business operations—including HR, Administration, Finance and IT. She is also charged with executing MG’s business strategy while ensuring operational excellence for our teams in the U.S. and Mexico. She has recently been named a Principal and will join MG’s board on January 1, 2021.
In addition to leading the company’s business operations, Yvonne provides significant leadership in all aspects of company-wide planning, culture building, process improvement and business systems implementation. She is deeply involved in the international B Corp community, having served on the international conference committee, presented trainings at regional and international convenings, as well as advising companies on best practices around pursuing B Corp certification. Yvonne also plays a key role in the business operations and management of our sister company in Mexico, Impacto Social Metropolitan Group. Yvonne’s professional expertise includes:

Yvonne brings an extensive professional background from the high-tech industry, working with large multinational organizations. This serves her day-to-day, as she strives to ensure key organizational and operating objectives at MG are met. She applies her expertise to ensure the company runs effectively, and that MG’s needs, vision and mission are always top-of-mind. Yvonne’s background also brings a deep understanding of various industries and corporate structures, which allows her to develop systems, tools and procedures to benefit our people and organization.
Originally from Kenya, Yvonne and her husband, Jeff, enjoy discovering new places to travel–especially on the continent of Africa. They are avid Oregon State football fans, who also enjoy Formula One racing (team #LH44) and camping throughout the Western U.S. They also enjoy cooking and trying new spices and recipes.
