Jason Rambo

Every organization with a computer system needs a brilliant guru to keep its technology running smoothly and update staff on new and exciting programs. Jason has been that person for the past 20 years!
Jason puts his diverse professional background to great use as MG’s operations manager. His focus on technical, organization and facilities issues keeps MG functioning smoothly and sustainably. His scope of work includes strategic planning, deployment and management of MG’s technical systems, and management of MG facilities and vendors. He guides technical policy while providing the team with day-to-day technical and office support. Jason’s areas of expertise include sustainable materials procurement, vendor practices and waste disposal. Threading together the disparate digital, analog and human elements needed to keep a smooth dance with the fast pace of technological changes.
Experience
Prior to starting the IT part of his Operations Management career, Jason was also a journeyman cabinetmaker and installer. His training as a tradesman in construction, alternative heating systems, electronics repair and the transformational education models taught by the Love and Logic® institute and Landmark Education LLC inform his work managing the buildings and technology that support MG’s mission.
Jason is an honors graduate of Benson Polytechnic High School, where he received a world-class technical education across many disciplines. He majored in building construction with an emphasis on craftsmanship and cabinetry.
Earning his Bachelor of Science with honors at University of Oregon, his studies emphasized science of human factors, systems thinking and learning systems.
In Community
Since rediscovering cycling in 2004, Jason has pedaled over 30,000 miles, commuting and raising funds for the American Lung Association and The Street Trust. In 2015 he realigned his progressive mindset and grassroots values and began serving on the Clackamas Democrats executive, central and communications committees. He is a founding member of the technology committee and co-leads voter outreach in his house district.
When he’s not tending to his family, the compost, yard, garden, house or some other adventure, you’ll find Jason spinning an indie LP and playing a tabletop game with his favorite people.
